This June, the center offers a packed schedule of classes designed to inspire creativity across all ages. Classes for Kids: Creativity Starts Early


The free kids’ classes at 2 Rivers Arts are designed to spark imagination and build foundational art skills. These sessions focus on fun, hands-on projects that encourage children to express themselves through various mediums such as painting, drawing, and simple crafts.


  • Age groups: Classes are available for children aged 5 to 12.

  • Schedule: Wednesdays, 10 - noon

  • Age groups: Teens aged 13 to 18.

  • Schedule: Classes take place on Thursdays, 10 - noon.

  • Outcome: Teens learn to critique their work constructively and explore personal themes through art.


These classes provide a safe space for teens to connect with peers who share their interests. The instructors encourage experimentation and self-expression, helping students build portfolios if they wish to pursue art further.

Pottery Classes for All Skill Levels


Pottery is one of the most popular offerings at 2 Rivers Arts and there are many classes scheduled throughout the year. The gallery provides two free introductory pottery classes that welcome beginners and those with some experience. The first one is scheduled for June and the second later in the fall.


The instructors guide students through each step, from shaping to firing, making the process accessible and enjoyable.
