THE WORLD IN COLOR

About

Born Jessica R. Brown in Richmond, Virginia, Jessica grew up in the small town of Colonial Beach and now resides in King George, Virginia. Her journey with art began at a young age, and her talent was quickly recognized by the late Dr. Warner, Superintendent of Colonial Beach Public Schools. He encouraged her to participate in the gifted and talented program in Warsaw, Virginia, where she spent three summers developing her skills and beginning to discover her artistic voice.

After high school, Jessica continued her education at Rappahannock Community College and Germanna Community College, where she earned an associate degree with honors. Life took her to North Carolina for a time, but she eventually returned to her hometown of Colonial Beach before settling in King George.

Following a series of challenging life experiences, Jessica found her way back to art. In reconnecting with painting, she discovered something deeper than a creative outlet—it was where she felt she was meant to be.

Today, Jessica’s artwork reflects her personal journey, exploring emotion, experience, resilience, and growth. Each piece is a reflection of what she has lived, felt, and discovered along the way, making her art a deeply personal expression of her evolving story.
